The beginning
A.B ELLIE took bloom from the concept of creating unique and timeless accessories that had yet to be seen but could have brides saying “yes” to the details before committing to a gown. We took this idea and shaped our label through creativity and the drive for brides to feel effortless and beautiful on their wedding day - from the veil + earrings down to a belt + rings. we showed brides that accessories are so much more than an afterthought.

While so many of you appreciate and understand our place in the bridal realm— the tonal, soft yet bold, and distinctive tones with a sweet + sultry quality, we wanted to give you a taste of process. from the very beginning, we derived ideas from everyday accents that could be made into bold + creative styles.
design process
It starts with an idea, a spark of inspiration that slowly develops into something more. Simple sketches turn into detailed designs, which grow to become the pieces our customers love + adore.
Bringing these designs to life requires numerous hands-on production sessions, where we experiment, learn from mistakes, and continually refine our process. With each iteration, we strive to ensure that the final product is worthy of you + your big day.

Since the beginning, our ambition has been to constantly push the boundaries of what is traditionally associated with "bridal" and explore how it can evolve. Embracing our "anti-bridal" mentality, the a.b. ellie // 023 collection directly speaks to our roots, but with an added edge. It represents both our foundation and our vision for the future.
texture
Texture has always been a fundamental element woven into the fabric of our designs. We embrace the art of texture, whether it be through tufts of fabric and pleated tulle or ribbed metals adorned with delicate ridges. The incorporation of texture is a recurring theme in many of our previous styles, evident in features such as tonal beading in the Mariana Strands or bold pleats on the Pleated Cape.
